May we introduce? Mr. Snufflufugus, a former stray who was wandering the streets of Copperas Cove/Texas completely helpless before his rescue.
The cute four-legged friend is so grateful for his rescue that he shows it to his rescuer in a very special way.
Overjoyed dog with an unusual name
His prayers for rescue were eventually answered. Mr. Snufflufugus was found and taken in by staff at Copperas Cove Animal Control.
The American Bulldog mix was so happy and relieved to be rescued that he immediately snuggled up to his rescuer, Tamara Hall.
This picture was so sweet and heartwarming that Tamara’s colleague Victoria Watkins-Killebrew immediately snapped a photo of the two of them.
„Victoria and I were at the dog playground when Mr. Snufflufugus decided he needed a hug.
Even though he enjoys all visitors, I am his favorite human.
And as such, I get to enjoy lots of special hugs and doggy kisses“,
tamara told The Dodo.
Cuddle monster on four paws
Such cuddly moments are not uncommon with Mr. Snufflufugus. After a short time, the furry friend had lost his reputation for being absolutely addicted to cuddles.
„He’s definitely a cuddle bug.
If you’re sitting on the floor, you can expect him to seek your attention by climbing onto your lap or snuggling up next to you.
He will give you the most irresistible and cute puppy dog look you’ve ever seen“,
tamara continued her story about The Dodo.
Mr. Snufflufugus doesn’t just love cuddles
Besides cuddling, Mr. Snufflufugus also loves to play and go for short walks. But he’s actually a real couch potato.
After the photo of Tamara and Mr. Snufflufugus went viral, the animal shelter was literally inundated with adoption requests.
Because Copperas Cove Animal Control can’t keep up with the requests, Mr. Snufflufugus will soon be moving to a larger shelter to wait for his forever home.
Until then, he is enjoying his time with his best friend Tamara.
We are sure that his new family can also look forward to lots of cuddles, hugs and kisses.
