It happens all too often that dog owners no longer want their four-legged friends and send them to an animal shelter.
After all, this shows a residual sense of responsibility, and many dog owners simply abandon their animals.
However, losing their humans and their homes is heartbreaking for the pelt-noses in any case, and the dogs in the shelter are also in a bad way.
Especially in the overcrowded shelter in Baia Mare, Romania, where Stine was surrendered by her owner.
This is Stine
Stine is a young dog just three years old. At around 60 to 65 centimetres at the shoulder, she is tall, but very slim and athletically built.
It is no exaggeration to say that Stine’s overall appearance is beautiful. Even more so is her delicate face with her bright brown eyes, which are expressively framed in black.
But this gorgeous bitch is also beautiful on the inside. She is very good-natured and even-tempered, affectionate towards people and social towards other dogs.
Stine simply loves everyone and gets on really well with everyone. She particularly enjoys it when one of the helpers has time to stroke her or take her for a walk.
This wonderful little dog is as cuddly as she is active. In keeping with her agile figure, she even enjoys sporting activities.
Stine’s story
In contrast to many other dogs in animal shelters in Romania, Stine did not have to grow up on the streets. She was lucky, she had a home.
But this luck was short-lived. It is not known why her owner no longer wanted her, but it cannot have been because of the dream dog herself.
Perhaps he simply didn’t have the time or inclination to spend time with her. Whether he loved her and how he treated her also remains unknown.
Whatever her first years with this person may have been like, it is certain that Stine’s loving, trusting character did not suffer.
Stine needs a new home – this time for good
The poor mouse wants to leave the shelter as soon as possible. It’s terrible for her to get hardly any attention and exercise.
She longs for love, cosy cuddles, great walks and sporting activities together.
Her family should therefore not only be very warm-hearted, but also have enough time to spend with her and enjoy exercise.
It is not known whether her former owner taught her the basics of dog training, so it can be assumed that she still wants to learn.
It goes without saying that this gentle dog should only be trained with a lot of empathy, patience and positive reinforcement. Scolding and punishment are taboo.
