True treasures are waiting in animal shelters for someone to find them, give them a home and love them the way they deserve.
Unfortunately, Bella has no luck for a long time. But a clever idea from the staff at the animal shelter finally ensures that she can leave it sooner than she thinks.
Nobody wants Bella
130 days is a long time – especially for Bella, who has been hoping for a new home for almost four months and has been disappointed time and time again.
She is the favourite of all the staff at the shelter, which is why no one there understands why the dog still hasn’t been adopted.
When they see that Bella is slowly losing heart, they are determined to find her a home.
Bella’s story goes viral on TikTok
With a TikTok video, the shelter staff turned the tide and drew the attention of thousands of users to the dog.
They write a notice for Bella’s cage, hang it on the door and point the camera at it. They make it clear to everyone that Bella is a wonderful dog.
„I am dry, well behaved, like most dogs, love to play catch and the kiddie pool, I love the littlest kids and big people too.“

This information is enough to get someone interested in the dog. One woman is not put off by the fact that Bella is a fighting dog, at least in appearance.
A happy ending the dog way
Just one day after the video was posted, she was at the door of the animal shelter. Watching the video, she realises: Bella belongs to her!
When she meets Bella, it’s love at first sight and there’s no longer any doubt. Bella has a new home.
