Many dogs cannot stand being left alone in their homes for long periods of time.
That’s why there are dog day care centers in some cities where dog owners can drop off their pets during the day and then pick them up after work.
In this video, a small dog experiences his first day in such a day care center.
All alone and sad
Lincoln is a cute dachshund and he’s one of the shy ones. When he arrives at doggy daycare, he is very unsure at first.
There are so many other dogs there and some of them are really big. There are also strangers walking around.
The whole thing is pretty confusing and little Lincoln feels completely overwhelmed. He can’t make contact with the other dogs.
He stands there all sad and alone while the other dogs have fun.
Things are going so well
He looks completely lost, the little darling. Some viewers may be reminded of their own first day at kindergarten or school.
But just like there, things don’t always stay as they seem at first. As the day progresses, little Lincoln makes contact attempts and lo and behold:
He succeeds. Soon he is happily running around the yard and making lots of new friends.
At the end of the day, he only wishes for one thing: to return to this great place as soon as possible.
