Dogs are very loyal animals. When we leave the house and they stay at home, they don’t know whether we will ever come back.
That’s why they are even happier when we come home. As a sign of joy, they quickly come running with their tails wagging.
A soldier returns
Soldiers are often away from home for a long time. They leave their wives, children and even pets behind. Sometimes their deployments take them abroad and it is unclear whether they will ever return.
The Ukrainian soldier in this video also seems to have been away from his loved ones for quite some time. It is therefore not surprising that he is looking forward to coming home.
But he is not the only one who is happy. When he and his dog see each other, the four-legged friend can hardly contain himself.
He jumps around his master, hugs him and howls with joy. His master is similarly delighted to see him again.
Other dogs also watch the spectacle
The couple who meet again are clearly in the spotlight in this video. But there are other dogs who witness this scene.
A German shepherd, for example, watches the reunion from the window of a car in the background. And he’s obviously happy too.
You can also hear a second dog, which is apparently directly below the camera, barking as well.
With so much joy, we can only hope that the two can now have a lot of time together.
