Ettje was apparently brought to the animal shelter under a pretence: she was supposed to be neutered and then returned home.
But her owner simply didn’t come back. Ettje waited and waited, but in vain. He no longer wanted her.
As she had already been to the animal shelter, she was taken in there and is now sad and lonely in her kennel.
The poor thing is desperately hoping that she will find a new home, this time one where she will really be loved.
This is Ettje
This beautiful dog is only one and a half years old. We can assume that she grew up with her former owner, but probably didn’t have a good childhood with this heartless person.
Ettje has beautiful fur that is patterned in different shades of brown. She is only 45 centimetres tall and weighs around eleven to twelve kilograms.
Her delicate appearance matches her equally delicate character. This sweet mouse is very gentle and always remains friendly and peaceful.
She behaves enchantingly sweetly towards all people and is also very good-natured and social with her fellow dogs.
She is unsettled at the moment due to the situation, after all she was suddenly robbed of her home and is now locked up in a not very nice environment.
Nevertheless, she is trusting and curious.
With her loving, approachable and open-minded nature, she is sure to become a loyal, pleasant companion for her new humans.
The ideal home for Ettje
Ettje is not „only“ longing for a safe, cosy home and a snuggly bed, but also for lots of love and closeness to her two-legged friends.
She wants to cuddle, go for walks, explore the world and be a full member of the family.
Her family should be very sensitive and let the gentle dog feel at every moment of her life that she is loved with all her heart and is always welcome.
Ettje would like to arrive in peace and slowly get to know everything new. She probably doesn’t know the ABC of dogs yet. She would therefore like understanding, patience and positively reinforcing lessons.
Once she has settled in, she would certainly be happy to attend a positive dog school, especially as she could meet new fur friends there.
Ettje wishes to never be disappointed again, to really live in love and security from now on and to be loyal to her humans.
