Raffie, the lovable dog, did not have a good start in life. He had always been exploited by his previous owners.
At first he was a breeding dog, but after a while he was no longer suitable for this. What awaited him afterwards was even worse.
A cruel fate that may have traumatized Raffie to this day.
He never put up a fight
Unfortunately, Raffie was far too good-natured and therefore never fought back.
Thanks to his gentle nature, he never became aggressive – he would never have thought of attacking or biting other dogs.
Raffie is a sweet and friendly dog who avoids any fights.
His new owner Maren says that he simply wants nothing to do with such disputes.
He prefers to turn his back on other dogs that are aggressive towards him rather than get involved in a fight.
„I never want him to worry again.“
Even though Raffie has been through a lot, he is now in a safe place where he will be looked after.
In his new home in the Netherlands, he has found someone who supports him emotionally and gives him unconditional love every day.
Maren is like a mother to him – because she makes sure Raffie never has to worry about being treated badly again .
Here he finally gets the love he has been missing for years.
„He was very weak and very scared.“
When Maren took the dog in, he was in a sad state.
He was terrified and found it difficult to trust Maren – he had already been let down too much by humans.
In addition, he had never learned to play like a dog.
After all, he had been denied this all his life because he was kept purely as a farm animal.
Raffie is her best friend
Over time, Raffie’s trust in Maren grew more and more.
He is now extremely affectionate and can’t get enough of Maren’s cuddles.
For Maren, Raffie is her best friend and she loves him more than anything – and the feeling is definitely mutual!
He is so cuddly and wants to cuddle with his favorite person morning, noon and night.
Maren is extremely happy to have taken Raffie in and to finally be able to give him the love he deserves.
He follows her everywhere
Since Raffie has been living with her, Maren can no longer go anywhere on her own.
He follows her wherever she goes – even to the toilet!
When Maren sometimes has to go away, she asks her father to look after Raffie so that he isn’t alone for too long.
But there’s not really anything to do with Raffie during this dog-sitting time.
Because he prefers to sit by the front door and wait for his mom Maren.
A buddy for Raffie
However, Raffie didn’t just get on brilliantly with Maren – he also had a soft spot for other animals such as cats, dogs, sheep and cows.
Seeing how social Raffie was with other animals, Maren adopted another dog that looked just like Raffie.
Odin, as the dog is called, had a similarly bad fate as his new buddy Raffie.
The poor animal was simply abandoned by his heartless owner !
Opposites attract
Even though Odin and Raffie are really good buddies, they still have completely different personalities
According to Maren, Raffie has absolutely no sense of humor, while Odin behaves like a real clown and gets up to all kinds of nonsense.
Raffie, on the other hand, is the calmer of the two, who simply loves to hug and cuddle his brother.
Although they couldn’t be more different , they immediately became best friends and still love each other to this day!
