Although it should be clear that inner values are more important than outward appearances, there is always the problem that outward appearances count more.
Even Serenity doesn’t always have it easy in life because of her looks. So it’s all the better that she now gets the love she deserves.
A difficult fate

Serenity is a 4-year-old Siberian Husky from San Antonio, Texas. The large scar on her face, which gives her an unusual appearance, has prevented her from finding the loving home she deserves.
But getting there has not been easy. Unfortunately, she suffers from an incurable tumor which, according to the vet, has already affected her facial bones, nasal cavity, eye sockets and parts of the rest of her face.
As a result, her face looks very deformed. Fortunately, she is hardly restricted by this so far, as she can still see, breathe and eat.

The Dallas Dog Rescue Rehab Reform organization has helped her find a home where she is accepted and loved just as she is.
New happiness for the adorable dog

Serenity’s new mom, Patti Dawson, is overjoyed to have found her. The two have a very close relationship and enjoy their life together.
According to Patti, Serenity shows no signs of distress or problems so far. But she also knows that this could change at any time. It is also unclear how long Serenity will live.
You can’t see the problems on the cheerful dog’s face. She literally beams in every photo and is a real ray of sunshine in everyday life.
Even during her time with the aid organization, she enchanted people’s hearts. During an appeal for donations, countless parcels arrived for her, which she unpacked with joy together with the helpers.

Serenity’s story shows us how it is possible to keep the joy of life even in the face of a difficult fate. She and Patti are a well-rehearsed team, united by the great power of love.
