A stray puppy is found in Bali. The puppy has a huge belly, which is why he can barely move. The aid organization Little Steps Matter intervenes.
The dog is taken to the vet. The diagnosis is devastating: His life expectancy is extremely low. But the dog wants to go on living.
A dangerous bloated belly
The vet recognizes that the dog is suffering from ascites. This is a large accumulation of fluid in the abdominal cavity, usually as a result of liver disease.
As if that wasn’t enough, the puppy is also infected with the parvovirus. This virus is highly contagious and very dangerous for unvaccinated dogs.

A survivor
Sabine, who took the dog to the vet, doesn’t want to give up on him. After six weeks of treatment, she takes him home with her. There he will continue to recover.
At home, other dogs are waiting to give Tobi, the new arrival, a warm welcome. Tobi also heals emotionally in this family.

Tobi also shows his playful nature here. He really blossoms in this family. He plays with the other dogs and starts cuddling with the humans.
The will to live has carried Tobi through his illnesses until he found a home where he can feel safe and secure.

Tobi was actually only supposed to be nursed up by the foster family and then put up for adoption. But the family ended up adopting him themselves.
Viewers of the video are amazed by the transformation Tobi has undergone. And the people who rescue such dogs also receive praise in the comments.
„Thank you to the team for rescuing him. May God bless you“,
