First you see them … but then you don’t!
For most animals, good camouflage is of great importance so that they can hide from enemies or stalk unnoticed when hunting.
Just like a tawny owl on the bark of a tree or a bright white hare in the snow, this dog has found the perfect place to remain completely incognito.
A visit to the family restaurant
When Reddit user RB9k paid a visit to a local restaurant one day, he actually just wanted to grab a bite to eat.
He took a seat with his dog Lady Poppington.
But while he was waiting in the restaurant to place his order, the man made an interesting discovery.
„This is amazing.“
Normally, Lady Poppington, with her black and white coat, is almost impossible to miss – she stands out almost anywhere!
Not so in this restaurant… Because here she blended in almost perfectly with the 80s carpet.
Her owner could hardly believe it at first! Then he decided to take a picture of his dog and share the incredible camouflage on Reddit.
People were impressed
Many people online didn’t recognize Lady Poppington at first glance.
They were amazed at how well the four-legged friend’s camouflage worked!
Most of them really had to look twice to spot the dog.
„If ithadn’t been for the lead, I probably wouldn’t have found the dog,“ said one of the users.
A mystery of nature
Lady Poppington was simply herself – and amazed Reddit users.
But why had nature blessed the four-legged friend with such a coat that made her appear invisible in such an unnatural environment as a restaurant?
Her master thinks that incognito mode in a restaurant offers a number of advantages. Lady Poppington could secretly vacuum up the crumbs on the floor or ambush her owner with surprise cuddle attacks!
No matter what Lady Poppington does in this restaurant – nobody will see her coming!
