Puppies actually have a better chance of being adopted than older dogs. Actually – but Emma was always overlooked as a puppy.
The reason for this is incomprehensible, she is beautiful both in appearance and character.
Now an adult, she is still sitting in an animal shelter in Romania, desperately hoping that she will finally be noticed and find a loving home.
This is Emma
Emma is now two and a half years old and has reached a shoulder height of 60 centimetres and a weight of 30 kilograms.
This handsome dog has a beautiful black coat and a very sweet, gentle expression on her face.
Her nature is exactly the same. Emma is friendly and social through and through, she has a heart full of love and wants to be friends with all people and other dogs.
This adorable little dog lives outside in a pack with the other dogs at the private shelter and gets on very well with all of them.
The company of dogs helps her a little to endure the deprivation of life in the shelter.
There is too little attention from humans, as the helpers do not have enough time to give the individual dogs much attention.
Emma thinks this is a great pity. She loves people and she loves to cuddle and do things together.
When a two-legged friend does have time for her, she is very happy and enjoys every second of cuddling, playing or going for a walk.
Unfortunately, she is missing part of her tail, the reason for this is unknown. She has no problems with this, but she cannot be rehomed in Switzerland because of it.
The ideal home for Emma
Apart from that, however, there are no restrictions. Emma would be happy in any cosy home where she gets lots of love and attention.
She is happy and grateful with security, lots of cuddles and walks and, of course, good care and a cosy basket.
But the sweet mouse still has one special wish: as she is used to a lot of space due to her years at the shelter, she would like a fenced-in garden with plenty of room to move around.
She would prefer to live in a home in the countryside.
Her people, including children who are part of the family, should bring warmth and time to spend together as well as stability, as Emma is not exactly a lightweight.
Of course, she is not yet familiar with the dog ABC and life in the house, so she is looking for sensitive, patient training with positive reinforcement.
