Sometimes fate works out in a happy way. But sometimes things happen that really do seem like a miracle.
This story is about one such miraculous and wonderful twist of fate.
In the leading roles: Two little puppies and a very surprised family.
Too scared to be rescued
Unsuspecting, Karra Bridgewater is driving through the city in her car when she suddenly notices a small ball of fur on the side of the road.
She immediately feels that she has to help, so she pulls over and gets out of the car.
But the ball of fur has already seen Karra and is afraid of the strange woman who approaches it so curiously.
Full of fear, the tiny creature flees behind a pole and tries to make itself invisible.
But it doesn’t work. Karra is determined to help the little puppy.
She approaches him slowly and carefully, and indeed: she manages to take him into her care.
Fleas upon fleas

Karra brings the frightened puppy home, where her wide-eyed children are waiting.
Unfortunately, the puppy is not well at all, his whole coat is covered in fleas.
Undaunted, Karra acts immediately: the cute puppy is given a bath without further ado.
However, one bath is not enough to defeat the mass of fleas. But after several more baths, the puppy is finally flea-free.
But now he’s had enough hustle and bustle for today, he urgently needs to rest. He does so cuddled up to Karra’s son.

A little later, Karra looks outside and has to look twice.
There’s a little puppy sitting on the porch, apparently wanting to come inside.
The puppy looks almost exactly like the puppy Karra rescued earlier. But only almost. And it’s a girl.
Naturally, Karra brings the little fur nose into the house. It’s hardly surprising that the two puppies obviously know each other – they’re siblings!

But not only do they share their kinship, unfortunately they also share fleas. The girl dog is just as badly flea-infested as her brother.
So she too is bathed several times. Then peace finally returns and the siblings, who have found each other again, can recover together.
The next day they are examined by the vet, fortunately they are healthy. Karra’s family will keep the two puppies in care until they find a forever home.

Hopefully the two siblings can stay together. It’s amazing how the dog girl found her brother, and is a testament to how much they love each other.
