A woman goes for a walk in a park in southern California. It’s a hot day and the heat is increasing by the minute.
Suddenly the woman stops. She has spotted something white in the shade on the wall of a building.
I’m off then ..

As she approaches, the white something turns into a small dog. It has taken refuge in the shade to escape the heat.
However, the stray doesn’t think much of the woman’s approach and shoots off like a little rocket.
The woman would like to help the dog. But she doesn’t know how to go about it. So she turns to Suzette Hall from the animal rescue organization Logan’s Legacy.
… and come back already

„He really needed our help, but just wouldn’t let anyone get close to him“
suzette describes her first impression of the little fur nose.
Of course, even she can’t match the agility of a dog that doesn’t want to be caught.
Fortunately, she knows exactly what to do. Suzette has brought a dog trap with her. It’s a cage whose door closes as soon as a dog enters.

She uses particularly tasty treats as a lure. The little dog practically runs into the trap. He is obviously completely starved.
Now I’m taking a nap

Suzette brings the trap and the dog into her car. The little one’s fear is blown away. He feels safe and shows it in a particularly cute way.
He yawns briefly once, then curls up and falls asleep.
Suzette has the dog examined at Camino Pet Hospital. He is completely healthy and is now given a new name: Mulligan.
Waiting for a forever home

Suzette uses her network of helpers and places Mulligan with foster parents. Everything seems to be fine here:
„He’s so happy now and smiles all the time,“
says the animal rescue expert.
At the same time, the search for a forever home begins. Let’s wish the little guy that this search is crowned with success.
