It all revolves around a sick and starving puppy found on the street. But what lies behind the young dog’s distressing condition?
A venture in the midst of the storm
On a rainy day, an observant woman in the neighborhood discovers a neglected puppy.
She doesn’t hesitate and alerts the rescue group „Hope for Paws“. But when the rescue team arrives, it becomes clear that this dog is something special.
Julia, as she is later called, doesn’t look like an ordinary four-legged friend – she appears to be a cross between a dog and a wolf.
„Normally we rescue dogs, but this time I’m pretty sure we rescued a wolf hybrid,“
explains Eldad Hagar, one of the rescuers.
Regardless of this, the animal rights activists bravely set out to find the dog.
A miracle of love and trust
The sight of Julia is heartbreaking. The poor animal is marked by infections and in a terrible condition. She is emaciated, her body covered in wounds and dirt.
Despite this, she shows amazing strength and is slowly gaining the trust of Lisa Chiarelli, another rescuer.
With gentle patience and treats, Lisa overcomes Julia’s skepticism and wins her heart.
A long journey of healing
After Julia is rescued, the team immediately takes her to the vet.
There it turns out that she is suffering from severe mange, inflamed skin and swollen paws.
But Julia once again proves her extraordinary bravery. She is not discouraged by the medical treatments and slowly begins to recover.
The loving care and support of the rescuers allows Julia to trust people and heal her soul.
Fortunately, she quickly found a family where she is now lovingly cared for and loved.
