A cosy bed, good food, care, fun and, above all, love – street dogs can only dream of these things. So they are all the happier when they find a home.
But the family’s promise to take in the dog for its entire life cannot always be kept. Sometimes life changes in such a way that the beloved four-legged friend cannot stay.
Unfortunately, this is the fate of the adorable Zanardi. That is why he is now urgently looking for a new loving home.
This is Zanardi
Zanardi is now called Paul (it is not known whether he still goes by his old name) and is two years young. So he is almost past puberty.
The sweet male is medium-sized and weighs around 26 kilograms.
The most striking feature, apart from his beautiful white and black cuddly fur with the cute little dots on his nose, is his missing left front leg.
However, Zanardi (Paul) has no difficulties at all due to his amputated leg. He plays and goes for walks almost like any other dog. Sometimes you don’t even notice that he is missing a leg.
This handsome puppy is an absolute sweetheart and a ray of sunshine. He loves to cuddle and has a positive attitude to life that nothing seems to be able to shake.
Despite his bad experiences, he is trusting and loves contact with people, especially when they cuddle him.
He approaches other dogs openly and likes to play. With male dogs, however, sympathy is sometimes the deciding factor.
Zanardi’s story
This sweet dream dog can look back on a difficult life story, despite his young age.
He lived on the streets in Romania and was completely on his own. The condition in which he was found by animal welfare workers shows just how dangerous life as a street dog can be.
His left front leg was so badly injured that it had to be amputated. But at least he was looked after at the animal shelter and soon found a home.
It is not known why his family had to give him up again, but it is clear that Zanardi (Paul) is not to blame and everyone is very sad.
The ideal home for Zanardi
The sweet sunshine really just wants to be loved, to cuddle a lot, to have fun and this time to be allowed to stay forever.
He would like to be a lone prince as he wants all the attention of his favourite people.
It could be that he is a guard dog mix, so his little head should also be well exercised.
He has certainly not finished learning the ABCs of being a dog and would like to be supported lovingly and consistently.
