It is unbelievable how animals are treated.
Dogs also have feelings, a heart and yet they only seek the love and affection of their owners.
Puppies in particular are an enrichment for everyone. Their clumsiness and irrepressible urge to discover the world alone should awaken people’s feelings.
Unfortunately, this is not always the case. Some owners torture the animals or even try to kill them. This is what happened in Nassau County (Florida). A man simply threw his puppy over a bridge into the water.
The puppy was on the verge of drowning in agony, but then a man spontaneously became a hero.
Rescue by an uninvolved passer-by
Thankfully, a passer-by noticed the situation and jumped into the water without hesitation.
He pulled the animal out of the river just in time. Puppies are not yet able to swim and a few minutes later the animal would have drowned.
The passer-by’s quick reaction was particularly praised on social media.
After the man had rescued the puppy, he took it to the animal shelter where it was cared for.
Unfortunately, the perpetrator was able to escape and has not yet been apprehended. Such an act of animal cruelty is simply horrific.
Numerous pictures on social media show the young puppy with its sweet, googly eyes. Who could do something like this to an innocent creature?
But this shows once again that there are people with civil courage who save animals in need.
Arrived at the animal shelter
The story spread quickly because it is so disgusting.
There is also a picture of the passer-by in the middle of the water with the puppy in his arms. The unnamed man is both a rescuer and a hero. Without his quick action, the animal would have drowned.
Fortunately, the still nameless puppy suffered no injuries and remained unharmed, apart from the shock of simply being thrown off the bridge.
The little dog has already been put up for adoption and it is to be hoped that an owner will be found who will take loving care of the animal.
It is incomprehensible how callous a person must be to simply throw a cute little puppy over the bridge into the water.
In the comments on the animal shelter’s website, the rescuer is celebrated as a hero. The man has truly earned this title.
