When an animal is adopted from an animal shelter, a new, beautiful and loving life begins.
At least that’s how it should be.
But the case of this poor dog is a terrible example of how it shouldn’t be.
A hopeful beginning
Finn Alexander is a beautiful little dog who really just wants a proper home.
Unfortunately, he has a chequered past.
In 2014, the little dog ended up at the Dallas animal shelter, where he was adopted.
The joy doesn’t last long, as he ends up there again in 2019 and is rescued by another animal welfare organisation.
Luck seems to be on his side again, as he is adopted once more.
Now the hope is high that this time it will be a forever home.
But then the shocking thing happens: in 2021, the poor little dog is found abandoned in a crate in the park.
He ends up at the Denton animal shelter and from there comes to CAMO Rescue in Texas.
Incredible fate
The moving story of the sad dog moves the helpers to tears.
Nobody can understand why someone would leave their dog defenceless in a crate in the park.
When you look into these sad and yet so loving eyes, it is hard to bear that this dog has already been given up or abandoned several times.
His eyes reflect sadness and disappointment, but deep inside you can still see a dog looking for love.
The helpers are doing their best to give Finn a new life.
Together with the animal shelters where Finn was housed, they are also trying to track down his former owner.
We can only hope that Finn will finally find the place he can call home.
