The animal world not only has a lot of beautiful things to offer, but is also sometimes cruel. Eat or be eaten is the law in the wild.
In this case, however, a constrictor snake has not chosen a wild animal as its prey, but a small dog.
A hopeless fight
The large python has a firm grip on the dog. With its thick, muscular body, the constrictor snake wraps itself around the four-legged friend so that he can no longer breathe.
The little dog has no chance to fight back or run away. The snake has already wrapped itself so tightly around his back that he can no longer move.
It’s only a matter of minutes before he dies and the snake devours him. But the dog is not alone in the meadow. His humans are close by.
However, it is not adults who witness the horrific scenario, but children of around ten years old.
And these children don’t hesitate for a moment. They immediately rush to their dog and together try to pull the snake away.
A python has enormous strength. It is actually impossible for the boys to free their dog from its tight grip.
But the children don’t give up. They are panicking because their dog is about to die. Perhaps it is precisely this panic that unleashes superhuman strength in them.
The three boys do not stop pulling on the thick snake’s body. Slowly, they realise how the python’s strength is waning.
Inch by inch, the children prise the snake away from their dog. He is still trapped, but he can breathe better and has a little freedom of movement.
The children have to persevere, because the dog has not yet been rescued. But after a few more terrifying moments, it’s finally done.
As soon as the dog’s legs are free, he runs off as fast as he can.
Heroes or fake?
The video, which was published on the YouTube channel socialmedia2757, appears to show a heroic rescue.
Some users praise the brave boys who put their lives on the line for their dog.
Lenise LaFleur, for example, said:
„Great job and quick thinking. I don’t know you guys but I’m proud of you! You are heroes!!!“
Some others have doubts about the authenticity of the video. Timelines of Maybe said:
„I have a feeling it’s fake for the simple reason that the dog doesn’t do anything.„
